Just when we thought details on the arrest of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman couldn't get more intense, a GoPro footage of the raid that finally captured the world's most notorious drug cartel kingpin has surfaced.

Spoiler alert: It looks like a scene straight out of a Hollywood action movie!

Seventeen elite Mexican marines carried out "Operation Black Swan" at a house in Los Mochis, Mexico, where El Chapo was said to be catching some Zs, according to a tip given to authorities.

As expected, deafening gunfire, explosions, and a fervid search made up the action-packed raid, which took down five guards and seized two men and two women.

Check out the daring video below:

El Chapo and his lieutenant were able to flee through a secret passage behind a mirror in his room, which went all the way down to the drainage system. The Mexican Federal Police finally foiled another getaway attempt on a highway, ending the kingpin's six-month long hide-and-seek with the authorities.
