Would it have turned out the same without a cover girl as liberated, professional (no complaints ever!), hot AF, and game as Ellen? Probably not
When a photo shoot goes from steaming hot in the woods to pouring rain with nowhere to hide, one would probably understand the subject getting bitchy about the harsh conditions. The increasingly soaked crew probably had the safety of the indoors on their minds as well. If Ellen Adarna declared “enough,” well, we’d beat her back to Zambawood.
But the Nat Geo-worthy elements of our December cover shoot had the opposite effect that day—it was a joyful surrender to nature. When Ellen stripped off and hollered at the crew “maghubad na din kayo!” it was a reminder that we all once enjoyed running around like idiots in the rain. And how could you think of quitting when Ellen herself never stopped slaying her photos despite being battered by waves? One by one, the styro reflectors used as makeshift payongs were left on the ground, and not a small number of people ended up in the sea that day.
Would it have turned out the same without a cover girl as liberated, professional (no complaints ever!), hot AF, and game as Ellen? Probably not. The second reminder that day was that we love Ellen because of her unbound personality—it’s no exaggeration to say that her spirit carried the entire shoot. Also reason one is we love that she loves to get naked, of course.
So here’s her third glorious cover appearance as our gift to you. Kept you waiting, huh?
