We're still a little bit tipsy, but somehow, someway, we managed to put this together: Here are some photos from the #FHMXVMax Launch Party! Kampai!
FULL DISCLOSURE: We're still a little hungover from last night's FHM XV Launch Party held at the 12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub in Makati. Well, who wouldn't? Aside from celebrating our 15th Anniversary, we, along with a handful of the FHM Nation, also got to watch awesome bands live. We even got to party with our March 2015 cover girl, Max Collins!
In case you missed it (Why didn't you go, bro? Free to the public kaya!), don't worry, we're gonna fill you in on everything that transpired! Scroll down to check out the awesome highlights! Man, it feels great to be 15!
The fun night started with the FHM XV presser held at the same venue. Good job on the wall decor, guys!
FHM's Managing Editor, Allan Hernandez, narrates just how much of a milestone FHM XV is and why Max is the perfect cover choice. "It was not really a question of 'bakit' but it was only a matter of time. Four years din kami nanligaw. Thankfully, this time, we finally convinced her."
Shortly after, our 15th Anniversary Issue cover girl appears wearing a classy scarlet dress. "This is a very special issue for FHM and I'm really, really lucky to be the cover girl," shares Max to the press.
The Kapuso star relates that she didn't have much time to prepare for her cover shoot. "I tried to eat less and workout as much as possible. Nag-Yoga ako, twice. Other than that, it's really just more of eating healthy."
"I was really nervous, kasi first time kong mag-shoot ng sexy," Max continues. "It was surprisingly really easy and sobrang bait nilang lahat. They made me feel comfortable. It was fun!"
"The hardest part was when Doc Marlon [photographer] cut my dress. It began with the slit. As you can see on the cover medyo mataas na," shares Max. "Also, the neckline, ginupit niya. I told him na hindi pwede kasi may wire. He said okay lang yan, then hinila niya yung wire and I was like, 'Oh, no! My dress is going to fall!' So, I'm just holding it up, and there, that's how it came out."
And that guys, is the story of the Max's cover! Thank you, scissors!
So, is Max ready to go daring? "Daring in a sense na this is me as a more mature woman. Hindi na ako bata, I'm up for more challenges. It's a New Year and I'm the new me as well. It also depends on the project. If maganda naman yung project then I'm up for doing sexier or more mature roles," answers the Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali star.
Of course, the FHM team didn't miss the chance to take a photo with Max!
And an obligatory groupfie! Finally, it's a wrap! Inuman na!
To ensure that no rowdy party-fouls would get in, we asked the help of FHM Girls Cyen Lazam
...and Angel Malit!
Here's how the FHM XV party hand sign is done!
Look who also came to party, FHM favorite Nicole Alexandria!
Grey Gomez also dropped by for a few drinks. Uhm, bro at the back, matunaw yan!
A few minutes later, Indio I took the stage. Us? We started calling for their hit, "Di Mo Lang Alam"!
And then some dude took the mic and said: "Bastusan na!" Aba'y tara!
Ladies and gents, Kjwan!
Seeing Marc Abaya performing on stage really got our Editorial Assistant Pong going. Pretty obvious, don't you think? #NumberOneFan
There you have it, FHM Nation. Hope you can join us next year for our Sweet Sixteen! But for now, let's celebrate 15 years of fun and sexy! XXXXVVVVV!
