The good ol' Mentos-Coke fountain is one of the go-to experiments to keep kids interested in science. It's easy and, judging by the number of "oohs" and "aahs" generated by the resulting frothy white-brown explosion, super effective!
Heck, even we grown-ups can't help but flash a smile when we see one about to explode:

So, with our undying interest on the experiment (and all exploding things in general) in mind, a Japanese YouTuber named Hajime did something we've been thinking of doing (but don't have the balls to deliver): Become the human version of the experiment!
Here's a step-by-step recap of how he did it!
First he gathered a whole store's-worth of Mentos candies (his wallet may have suffered a bit doing so)
He then filled his small bathtub with Coke Zero
Offering his body in the name of science, he taped said Mentos candies on himself with copious amounts on his belly
3... 2... 1... GERONIMO!!!
Here's the splash from another angle
And the resulting generous fizz
Sugary fountains popped up in random!
It really wasn't as explosive as what we hoped for, but it sure looks a lot of fun, doesn't it?
Any of you guys feeling brave? Here's the video of the whole thing:
