Halloween is still months away but this story will definitely give you the creeps, especially if you don’t have these kinds of skeletons hiding in your closet.
In Quiapo, Manila, at least five skeletal remains were found inside an abandoned house an the Islamic Center.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), the children who were playing there complained of a weird stench, which prompted authorities to investigate, GMA News reports.
They then found human bones cemented behind a wall under the stairs portion of one room.
If you think this is bad, it actually gets worse, because authorities dug up two more skeletal remains.
Chairman Sultan Yusof Guinto of Barangay 648 told ABS-CBN that he believes they might find at least ten skeletons after they thoroughly search the whole house.
“Ang nahukay ngayon dalawa, pero kung mahukay yan lahat mahigit 10 yan. Eh ‘yung flooring di pa nagalaw pero dun pa sa dingding meron pa dun, dinikit dun,” he said.
Guinto also suspects that at least three cases of missing people in their barangay, including that of his nephew, is related to this discovery.
The house was reportedly abandoned sometime in 2014 or 2015. The MPD for its part is looking for experts to help them identify the remains that may in turn solve some cases of missing people.
