This afternoon, FHM received word that The Killers concert slated on January 31 at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds has been cancelled. [firstpara]
The heads-up letter from Eventscape that reached our inbox this afternoon reads: "The Killers have been forced to cancel their appearances in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Seoul due to unforeseen circumstances. World Wide Womb and Saga Events deeply apologizes to The Killers' fans and hope to reschedule their show here in Manila."
The same statement has been published on mtvasia.com with an additional apologies from the Las Vegas troubadours: "The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hopes to reschedule their shows in these cities soon.
While there are no specified reasons, spin.com has a few speculations. "Brandon Flowers and Co. have been looking forward to a break since at least last April, when an "insider" was reported as saying the band is 'sick of the sight of each other" reports David Marchese on the music magazine's website.
Major bummer, we know. We have, after all, been gearing up for their show! Stay tuned as we'll keep you posted on developments of this matter.
