Finally, a confirmation: Kris Aquino remains as a Kapamilya!
For those who aren't in the know, Krissy was spotted having a dinner meeting with TV5 head honcho Manny V. Pangilinan right around Christmas time, fueling speculations that the veteran actress was set to leave her home network of two decades for good. Kinabahan/Natuwa mga Kapamilya dun ha!
But all is good in the end. Kris, in fact, just announced via Instagram that she has renewed her contract with ABS-CBN. "It is with much joy that I share to you that we have renewed our contract with the ABS-CBN management," she writes. "I am grateful for the trust, value, and importance they have given me." End of episode, folks!
Here's the thing though: We're pretty sure she would have switched networks if only those network executives listened to our suggestions for Kris' next TV projects. Pero wala eh, better luck next time, sirs.
