Three years ago, the inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center wowed the world over with their game-na-game Thriller dance moves. Uploaded on YouTube, the video showing the inmates of the maximum security prision, has garnered more than 37 million views to date.
While they've been showered with a lot of local and international media attention, there isn't anything like this kind of love they recently got.
Michael Jackson's long-time choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid swung by Cebu to teach the eager inmates a few moves off MJ's This is It.
The video, which, according to popular local blog chuvaness was professionally filmed by Sony Pictures. It was only uploaded on YouTube last January 22, 2010 but already, the video has already received over 129,000 views. We know: wow.
Amazing, yes? We thought so. Here's to the dancing inmates of Cebu!
