Movie and Television Review and Classification Board board member Mocha Uson is part of President Rodrigo Duterte’s entourage for his state visits in the Middle East this Holy Week.

This was confirmed by Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella who said there was nothing wrong with having the staunch Duterte supporter aboard, the Inquirer reports.

“She has a large following among the overseas Filipino communities, especially in the Middle East, and it is in their interest that she has come to help boost morale and well-being,” he said.

Uson for her part has expressed excitement over meeting the Filipino communities in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos is also part of the President’s entourage after she reportedly requested to be included so she could meet with the overseas Filipino workers there who are mostly comprised of Ilocanos.

However, both Uson and Marcos are not listed as part of Duterte’s official delegation which is comprised of top government officials including the Cabinet members.

The President and his delegation arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday and will be heading next to Bahrain and Qatar this week.
