Several politicians and personalities alike have already voiced out their opposition to the high court's ruling.
In reply to this, Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos said that it was time to "let go" and "move on" from the issue in order to start a time of healing for the nation.
"Intindihin natin yung Constitution. Kung Constitution ang pagbabasehan natin, once na ikaw ay naging presidente at elected ka, you have the right. Kung baga qualif(ied) ka na ilibing sa Libingan ng mga Bayani."
