It’s been four days since the Anti-Distracted Driving Act took effect and authorities have already apprehended around 300 violators in the first two days of the regulation’s implementation.

Technically, there are 11 things a driver must know regarding the new law, which was introduced on May 18, 2017.

Needless to say, the motoring public is extremely confused over the new law, which has somehow rendered helpful navigational gadgets and even the protective properties of rosaries (for believers), well, unlawful.

This is all intended to keep what they call a driver’s “line of sight” clear at all times, which is actually a good thing.

However, the law was originally designed to keep motorists from using their mobile phones while driving. The problem is, authorities took things too far.

So it's not at all surprising that even Senator JV Ejercito is now calling for the suspension of the law until things get ironed out.

Senator Dick Gordon, for his part, echoed his colleague’s sentiment and said that the bit about banning rosaries was outrageous.

Meanwhile, here are some more funny reactions from Pinoy netizens about the new regulation:

Your spacious forehead is a prime spot to stick your cam on.

This dude is keeping his faith alive.

Even cars get thirsty if it’s this hot.

Maybe we should just all go GTA on the roads.

Even the horses are complaining.

See the irony?

No windshield, no problem.

Poor wiper.

Who let the dogs out?

Yeah, these are distracting alright.
