Not only do people spend thousands of pesos for spooky costumes, play scary pranks on one another or go to bars to celebrate Halloween. Some are busy watching tons of, erm, vampire erotica. Yes, freaky, bloody aswang porn.

Global news site Mic collaborated with PornHub to analyze what people search for during Halloween. What they found out was that, yes, people's taste for porn is greatly affected by the spooky season and that around this time of the year, Halloween-related terms such as "trick or treat," "devil," and "zombie" significantly increase in search frequency.

Of the top 20 terms that saw a huge increase, the term "Halloween" experienced the highest spike with a 2245-percent boost. In simple terms, it means that people searched for the said word 22 times more than during non-Halloween days. The lowest was "catsuit" which "only" saw a 156-percent increase.

Here's the breakdown:

Strangely enough, terms that aren't traditionally associated with Halloween such as "schoolgirl," "superhero," and "cheerleader" made it to the rankings as well. Explained simply, it must be because people associate the holiday with costumes—and those costumes mentioned are easily sexualized.

The stranger bits? That there are people who are actually looking for decaying zombie porn. And just what exactly is a "halloween orgy"?
