THE Shirt! And we begin the list with T.H.E. Clothing Company which a majority of us surely have heard of, and some may already have it on their closet. Having bulid their HQ on the heart of Cubao X, they boast a collection of higly regarded urban culture concept shirts. You can check their designs on their Facebook page :facebook.com/theclothing
Cut for the new school. The Raglan sleeve tagged THE Bad Influence is perfect if you're remeniscing about your school days with its campus feel with its play of blue and gray colors.
The Advocacy. They really made a great read here with their printed tagline, big enough for us to see. And if you don't get it, well, you my friend, have a problem.
Going back to their roots. Since they're affiliated with urban street art, especially with Philippine Street Plan (PSP), this design really tells it all. And if you have the same passion, this tee will definitely suite you well.
All that's perfect for the beach. And because it looks like summer may have enjoyed its stay here and its evident that its not going away soon, we throw in something cool for you.
Back to Basics. Here's a look of the basic tees for THE Clothing. Remember that going for a simplier and basic look is always the safer choice.
Galactic Exiles sells out their shirts yearly on the Philippine Toy Con Expo on a regular basis and now currently consigned at Vinyl on Vinyl Art Gallery at the The Collective, Malugay, Makati City. Admittingly doing designs for the geeks at heart firsts (evident on their Darth Vader inspired logo), they have explored their variety of designs from robotic nerdy stuff to awesome character graphics. We present to you their Black Series.
The Neon Man. Because we see it like that. A funky play on the neons on a black canvass surely brings a trippy effect. And that little round fella below, really reminds us of the "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes."
A crazy graphic on a heavy blood-red ink matches the black shirt perfectly. Great wear on gigs, and on drinking Fridays.
Kung Fu Cat. We're thinking one of the founders owns a hardware supplies store on Binondo because of their insane twist of the Maneki-neko (read: the Waving Fortune Cat).
Smoking crab. If your an avid horoscope reader and your zodiac sign is Cancer, you better have this tee! Who knows? It may turn out as your lucky shirt.
The Sad Pilgrim. Another character patterned and colored by a heavy dose of red. And we firmly believe that it is Psyduck laying on top of his head.
Gnarly! picks up 1970s surfer slang gnarl that describes a dangerous wave; it had spread in teen slang by 1980s, where it meant both “excellent” and “disgusting.” You can be more familiar with this word with Krayshaun's LSS inducing "Gucci Gucci."
Gnarly! gives you a youthful vibe and an urban feel with their array of vibrant characters and fresh fonts, and more importantly, their products can be worn by both you and your girl! Here's their G! crewneck that's perfect when you're hitting the gym or to keep you warm on a rainy day, you know thatlooking good is a no sweat affair when you've got this on. P1,099
