Fall fashion trend report

With the horrendous traffic, shopping stress, and parties happening one after another, the Holidays will leave you holidazed. So to keep you looking sharp and sputing all the way to the New Year, here are the top three trends for the 'Ber months as seen in runways and fashion shows. Guaranteed to mask lack of sleep and hangovers.

1. Prep. It's like college all over again! Brands like Boss Green from Hugo Boss, looking to the American retro sitcom Happy Days as inspiration, celebrates the college-boy style of the 1950s: campus jackets, hoodies, stripes and argyles—things you probably still have in your closet to remind you of your carefree, Bagets days. The bright color pallete—royal blues to red, yellows to green—is something you're already familiar with, given the previous seasons' penchance for color.

2. Grunge. Think plaid shirts, rugged jeans, even corduroys. Armani Exchange summons the classic street style with a shot of relaxed sophistication. Marlboro Classics, meanwhile, is going for the classic look that is weathered with time. Hence, the faded denims revisiting the old Western style. They're also using earthy colors (think: orange, brown, red, and indigo) to spice up the traditional with the modern.

3. Tailored. This season, go for the tough but tailored ultra-masculine suits. Opt for short lengths and narrow leaps and pair them up with slim or full pants. Wear at parties to impress the ladies as well as the bosses.
