We’ve seen it coming; we just didn't really think it would actually happen, again. Boat shoes becoming the Big Thing, we mean.

Of course, we’ve always known boat shoes to be the in thing among our erpats and titos who liked to remind us about just how cool they were during their era.

Well, now we can fire back: They're cool again, tito! Becauase, alas, they are.

When it comes to, ehem, boat shoes, there is only Sperry. Yup, the brand that launched an international love affair with “boat shoes” since foreverrr. Sperry's been worn by the American armed forces, world-renowned sailors and the gang of our fathers and our titos.

While the brand has proactively evolved beyond the boat shoes circle, Sperry will forever be identified with the nautical theme. Which is a good thing; the nautical trend shows no signs of dying.
