Vegetarianism

Go Green now!
In the day and age of the baconator, going green may sound like suicide. You’ll turn weak, you’ll argue. You need the protein to bulk you up. You simple can’t. All legit excuses, yes. But, but, but. Unless you try it, you’ll never really know. We mean, even Yasmin Kurdi’s in on the vegetarian circle. There’s got to be something why the likes of Tobey Maguire, Samuel L. Jackson, Alicia Silverstone, and Paul McCartney have given up meat.
Must try
Try it for a day. Or, if this cold-turkey move isn’t to your biology, try doing it by the week: Give up beef on your first week, pork on your second, and so on and so forth until you feel you’re at your optimum. There are many levels of vegetarianism: pesco-vegetarian for those who need seafood. Octo-lacto for those can’t do without dairy, vegan for the hardcore. Visit PeTA Manila’s team to know more about vegetarianism, why it’s not only good for you but for the people around you, too!
Pain
Well, the smell of bacon every morning should be enough.
Gain
Getting rid of meat in your diet lowers your body mass index and cholesterol levels. And then there’s the environment aspect—vegetarians have lower carbon foot prints.
