In 1965, action figures became one of the top-selling toy categories . With blockbuster movies like Star Wars coming out in theatres in the 70s, collecting action figures became a serious hobby. Soon, people started regarding action figures as investment, as well. Today, action figures are worth a lot of moolah. With toy manufacturers releasing only a limited number of these action figures, their worth often increases with them, making them precious. Your priced possession can go double or even 10 times the amount you bought it with in less than five years.

It pays well to know the story behind the figure, too. Match it with the right comic book or CD collection and their value would exponentially rise, as well.
