Why you should visit: The Bite Club in Katipunan has actually been around for a decade, hence the name of their special sauces, “Atong Ang-Hang” and “Chavit Sing-Sauce,” which represent some of the controversial personalities during the period. Going in, you get the feeling everyone knows each other. The burgers are also sensationally huge. They come in three sizes, starting with the one-third pounder all the way up to a full pound of pure beef patty. The latter is called the Triple X burger, and is around nine centimeters in diameter, which, like the other burgers, can be ordered with infused mozzarella. The burgers’ juicy aroma comes from the lava rocks used in grilling.
