VIDEO OF THE DAY: This is how we want the iPad 3 to be like
This is, perhaps, the most ambitious portrayal of the iPad 3 that we've seen. Why so? Well, you have to watch it to get the picture. See the video below.
See that? Forget 4G connectivity, Retina Display, and quad-core chips, the iPad in the video has a freakin' hologram system, an edge-to edge screen (which is not new in the rumor mill, BTW) as well as what looks to be a souped-up version of NFC connectivity! We know, those features will not be on the iPad 3, the iPad 4 or even the iPad 5 but you can also argue that these tech are already available today. Maybe it's only a matter of time before we're able to fit those on mobile devices and, with the rate tech is evolving, that might happen sooner than we think.
As for the real iPad 3, it's going to be unveiled next week, on March 7 to be exact. A pretty big day for iPad fans, right? And, even though the upgrades and new features on the real deal will look amateur compared to the goodies in the video, we're still marking our calendars. Come on, Apple, surprise us!

Rumor has it that the iPad 3 will boast a thinner and lighter battery than the one found on the current version. This bodes well for the device's overall look. And, that's not all. The new battery pack will also have more juice giving more points to portability. However, these improvements will also come at a price which means the iPad 3 could potentially cost a bit more than its predecessors.
