What’s keeping you busy right now?
I’ve got a lot of projects going on right now–a major one is that I will be filming for Fast & Furious 7! I’m also now the official pageant coach and director for Miss Philippines USA!
FF7 is definitely a big thing. Are you stunt driving for someone maybe?
Yes, I have done stunt work before for a brand I endorse. And I don’t just sub for someone; I want to be given the keys, ha ha!
Driving cars and coaching Miss Philippines is a pretty wild swing.
Well, I also have a lot of pageant experience and was nominated for the position. I can help the delegates not just with their pageant walk but also their interviews, how to be role models, and how to utilize what they learn for their careers.
Wait—before people start owning you in the name of Pinoy pride, you are actually not half-Filipino right?
Well, if the Philippines would adopt me, I am a Pinay, ha ha! I’m a mix of Taiwanese and Spanish.
You’re always here solo though. Is that how you like it?
It’s not so much that traveling alone appeals to me; it’s just that whenever I come here I’m on a mission—I’m here for work. I would love to travel with friends.
So what’s on the itinerary for your getaway?
I want a massage every day because the spas here are amazing, I would hang out at the beach and put the sand between my toes. I would catch a merman, ha ha! Dive for pearls.
You obviously meant catching a local guy by saying merman, right?
Well, duh! If I were single, I would definitely go for a Pinoy, ha ha!
How does a pageant queen/racecar driver impress a man? What side would you trot out first?
Well, if you can drive stick shift in high heels, I think that’s pretty hot, ha ha!
