Jaja Hernaez is a relatively new face in the car show modeling industry. But she’s been making a name for herself quickly with her good looks and her no-nonsense attitude towards fans who approach her during car shows. She'll like you easily if you're nice and well-behaved. But if you're not, she can be the tough, straight-talking girl who'll warn you not to get too close: “It’s just the way I am. I just say what’s on my mind."
She assures however that she enjoys good company: "Okay ako na lalapitan at kakausapin. Hindi naman ako masungit, even though it might seem that way sometimes.”
Even in social media, Jaja says that being herself helped her gain a good number of fans. We asked her if she had any tricks she used to gain popularity and she said, “I just post whatever I find fun and enjoyable for myself. Wala naman akong gustong pasayahing specific na tao; if they like what I post on my account then good for them. I like making my fans happy but I wouldn’t go out of the way to change who I am to do so." Jaja being herself is Jaja at her best. She doesn't like putting up a front.
While it makes sense that a head-turner like Jaja would have guys knocking at her door 24/7, she tells us, “Lagi nga akong sawi eh.” When we asked her if she had a clue why, she answered, “I don’t like guys who notice me first. Ayoko yung patay na patay sa akin. Mas gusto ko yung pa-hard-to-get.”
She also likes men that can challenge her: “Gusto ko yung may takot ako kasi kung mawala na ako ng takot, tatamarin na ako sa relationship. Gusto ko yung nahihirapan ako.” What is it with people wanting what they obviously can’t have?
What's going to help your cause if ever you tried asking her out? She says she kind of has a preference for men of another nationality—but not because of their foreign looks. She explains, “I prefer dating foreigners just because gusto ko ako yung malambing, hindi siya."
But don't ask Jaja out yet. Our #NewCrush confessed that she's fresh from a break-up and isn't looking for anything serious. In fact, right now, she'd like to reach for the dreams she'd set out for herself: “Ngayong single na ako, focus muna ako sa buhay ko. In order for me to reach the goals I set for myself, I need to concentrate on how I can make myself better.” Atta girl! We don’t know about you guys but this girl just seems to get more and more attractive by the minute.
