The 13th Manila International Auto Show is well underway, and aside from the sick rides, there's another reason male car aficionados flock the country's biggest motor show.
While we're all about the engine and mag wheels, FHM can't help but admire the comely ladies manning each luxury unit. Being able to chat with them about their habits on the road just came as a bonus.
Trixia Mendoza, 22
Favorite company: "Friends! I don't have a boyfriend, ha ha! (Where?) Usually at beaches, like in Batangas!"
Janny Medina, 23
Ride of choice: "I'm not really a fan of luxury cars, more of sports cars. Kasi yun yung attitude ko, medyo sporty, medyo rugged."
Billie Arden Hernandez, 22
Driver or passenger? "Minsan (driver), kasi antukin ako eh, baka makatulog ako! Ha ha! Kaya hindi ako ganun kadalas mag-drive. Tsaka gusto ko yun ma-traffic—di ba, kakaiba?"
Juliana Urbina, 25
Where to go: "Batangas, La Union, or Zambales—actually, anywhere."
Geng Maderazo, 25
Ride of choice: "Gusto ko yung malalaking kotse, parang mga Expedition. Gusto ko laging kasama yung friends, family. Tapos maraming gamit na maisasakay, like shoes, ha ha!"
Automatic vs. manual (driver): "Automatic na lang, para nahahawakan niya yung kamay ko, ha ha!"
Rosa Linde, 22
Where to go: "I think here in the Philippines, I've been to Baguio, the beach a couple of times—Puerto Galera. (Overseas?) Well, I'm from Amsterdam, so me and my friends like to grab the car and go to like Antwerp or Paris."
AC on vs. windows down: "Pag mga road trip, gusto ko yung open windows, para feel na feel mo yung hangin, di ba? (Where?) Yung mga three-hour drive lang, usually Batangas or Tagaytay."
Bea Candaza, 24
Where to go: "La Union or Quezon; my boyfriend's family has houses there. (But) I prefer land activities, mas enjoy ko yung trekking, medyo rough."
Annie Co Ting, 23
Favorite company: "Sometimes, alone. Wala lang, peaceful. (Where?) Short drives, like 30 minutes to one hour, in Tarlac."
