New sneaker collab alert
The collaboration between the two labels goes deeper than their merchandise. With both of them sharing underground roots, PONY x DBTK is born from "passion, authenticity, and a true hustler attitude."
“Five years in, and now to be the first Filipino streetwear brand to collaborate with a global sneaker label and participate in such a huge movement, it’s unbelievable for us,” DBTK co-founders said.
During the launch held at Dulo MNL in Poblacion, Makati recently, the event was more than just a venue to cop a pair of the exclusive release. The place got lit with live performances from indie bands and solo artists like IV of Spades, 16-year-old Shanti Dope, Baryo Berde’s Migo Señires, and Marc Mamuric, as well as DJs-slash-PONY ambasadors Marxx and Alwyn Cruz.

“Attention to details is expressed in this collaboration. Every component of the shoe was scrutinized and polished to perfection. Everything that inspired us since the very beginning are all coming together. Without a doubt, hustle and will is what this collaboration is all about,” DBTK co-founder Vince Javier shared.
The epic team-up features two of PONY’s most iconic silhouettes—the classic City Wings 85’, and perennial favorite Shooter 78’.
Both sneakers are made with premium leather in signature contrasting black/white colorways. PONY and DBTK logos can be found printed, one on each footbed, while a custom leather shoe chain hangs from the top eyelet.
The City Wings is made of premium black textured leather and suede uppers, a white leather Pony chevron, and classic gum sole bottoms. Each heel tab features a tonal embossed PONY or DBTK logo on either side.
The Shooter is designed with suede leather in deep black and a subtle perforated chevron pattern. Heel tabs feature the classic DBTK character logo as a throwback to the brand’s earliest days.
All pairs come in an exclusive PONY x DBTK shoebox showcasing the New York and Manila cityscape—an homage to both of the brands’ birthplace.
The PONY x DBTK City Wings and Shooter are available at select Complex Lifestyle Stores—Glorietta 2, TriNoma, Eastwood, Alabang Town Center (ATC), Uptown BGC, Festival Mall, Marquee Mall, and the DBTK Flagship Store. You can also skip the metro’s traffic and have it delivered straight to your door by purchasing online at www.pony.com.ph, www.dbtkco.com, or www.complexlifestylestore.com
