One of Asia's wealthiest, business magnate Jack Ma, is currently in the country for a "Conversation with Students" at the De La Salle University.

The founder and executive chairman of Chinese e-commerce empire Alibaba Group was presented an honorary degree, Doctor of Science in Technopreneurship Honoris Causa.

"I'm extremely humbled by the title given to me today ... What brought me here today is the responsibility, the mission for the people I work with," Ma was quoted by GMA News Online in his acceptance speech.

The global business icon, who is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call to President Rodrigo Duterte, flew in at the invitation of a student leader. La Sallians and other select guests were lucky enough to experience Ma's wisdom firsthand.

Fortunately, some attendees were generous enough to share his words to live by on social media. Here are the best bits of advice from Fortune's No. 2 greatest leader in the world:

Real (and harsh) talk from the man himself

Don't be afraid to embrace your inner crazy

Reminder that people have control over computers

The only thing that is constant is change

Never underestimate the power of emotions

A little help from your friends won't hurt

In the end, you have only yourself to depend on

Because ranting about something doesn't solve it

More than your professional relationship is at stake

Our personal favorite
