1) Pililla Wind Farm in Rizal
Two hours from Manila
Pililla Wind Farm has 27 wind turbines standing tall on sloping hills at 300 meters above sea level. Aside from the towering windmills, which are—tell the girlfriend—Instagram-worthy, you also get a beautiful view of the plains of Tanay and the clear waters of Laguna de Bay. Now, you don’t need to travel all the way to Ilocos Norte to see the famous Bangui Windmills!
How to get there: Take a van or FX to Tanay Public Market in Sampaloc (P70 per person, one way). At the market, take a tricycle to Pililla Wind Farm (P300, per person, one way). Entrance fee is free.

2) Sky Ranch in Tagaytay
Two hours from Manila
If you're fond of cheap thrills and yummy food, then Tagaytay’s Sky Ranch is an avenue to feed your taste for fun. They have rides which the kid-in-you will surely love, such as the Viking, Jump Around, Log Coaster Flying Bus, and more. Of course, don’t forget to try the Zipline and The Sky Eye, which is dubbed as the tallest Ferris wheel in the country. You’ll also witness an amazing view of Taal Lake and the Taal Volcano—the best backdrop for that monthsary date FB post.
How to get there: Ride a bus to Tagaytay-Mendez or Nasugbu route (Around P80, per person, one way). Alight at Olivarez Tagaytay. Ride a jeepney to casino or Crossing Mendez and alight at SkyRanch Tagaytay. Entrance fee is P80 per person (Mondays to Fridays) / P100 per person (Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays).

3) Seven Lakes Of San Pablo in Laguna
Two to three hours from Manila
In this tour, you'll get to see all the seven lakes of San Pablo, Laguna: Sampaloc, Mohicap, Palakpakin, Calibato, Bunot and the twin lakes of Pandin and Yambo. Enjoy a 2-hour romantic bamboo raft ride as you explore the wonders that these bodies of water have to offer. You can also take a swim in Lake Pandin if you want to beat the heat.
How to get there: Ride a bus to San Pablo or Lucena (Around P130, per person, one way). Alight at 7/11 near San Pablo Church. Ride a tricycle and ask them to take you to Lake Pandin (Around P50, per person, one way). Bamboo raft ride/tour costs P180 per person (P360 if with lunch).
