Manila has become a pitstop for most touring artists. Witness: Deftones, Yellowcard, Don McLean if you're into that; Taylor Swift, if you're into that; tomorrow, Stone Temple Pilots; on Saturday, The Whitest Boy Alive. And that's just the first three months of the year.
The two concert survival guides (here's part one and here's part two) we put out a few weeks ago should arm you with the concert basics: do's and don't's, what to bring and what not to bring, that sort of thing.
Remember, it's always a two-way street between you and the artist. Feel free to expect a lot from them; you paid good money after all to see them. But, as a fan, you are also responsible in making the most of the of the experience. And so, here is a four-step way to making an unforgettable life experience from the concert you're about to see, gentlemen. Don't make the mistake of just standing there and clicking away.
