But we bet you've heard about this partnership already, given its magnitude (and the amount of dough involved, more on this in a bit). The thing is, it's only this month (on October 1 to be exact) that the deal officially started so yeah, it's no longer a rumor, to say the least.
So, what does the elite guard have to say about this megabuck deal–$200 million for 13 years, baby!–with one of the biggest sneaker brands in the world? "I think of myself as a creator on the court and I’ve built a game different than any other player in the league. I see an opportunity to become one of the best players in the world–adidas is the partner who will help me get there. I can’t wait to get started."
And to officially start the partnership, adidas did something that will make any man wish he had Harden's skills.
OMG, WAS THAT A TRUCKLOAD OF SNEAKERS WE JUST SAW!? #WeJelly
We don't know about you but the amount of shoes he got (and the heaps more he'll receive in the near future) almost seems like as sweet as the cash involved!
Here are a couple more photos of the epic delivery:
For those not in the know, Harden was previously with rival brand Nike and–get this–he's actually never worn an adidas pair before the partnership started. He obviously has no reason not to now.
As for his signature kicks with adidas, well, there's no official word yet. What we do know is that Harden will be donning the Crazylight Boost 2015 in a variety of Houston Rockets colors (think red, white, and yellow) in the upcoming season.
Ah, the perks of being an NBA superstar.
