Alyas Robin Hood is getting a lot of flak for supposedly being a shameless ripoff and having been shabbily put together.
Initially, people can't help but point out the uncanny resemblance between main protagonist Pepe (played by Dingdong Dantes) and Arrow's Oliver Queen.
Recently, viewers were disappointed with the show's shoddy production value (water gun as flamethrower, really?!) of one of its first episodes.
Good thing the creators were smart enough when it came to casting, sandwiching Dingdong between leading ladies Megan Young and Andrea Torres. The Miss World 2015 and sultry actress at least make the action drama worth tuning in.
Andrea, for one, seems to be working double-time in persuading the viewing public to stay.
Recently, she shared on Instagram a few [eye-popping] glimpses of her character Venus, who is said to teach Pepe martial arts on Alyas Robin Hood.
Safe to say she's doing a helluva job.
