FHM Nation, you do know that August is when we celebrate Buwan Ng Wika, right? (You've read our Mga Kuwento Ni Ate (Na Pilyo) Volume III, right?) Hence, let's not let the month pass by without paying homage to our local dialect.

Granted, our dialect doesn't sound as sexy as the French or as aggressive as the Italians, but there are plenty of reasons to be proud of our language. For starters, Filipinos have the nastiest-sounding curses (translation: "Ano ka ba? 'Mura,' gago!"), and we're not even talking about the Tagalog ones. Hands down, we're the best at being potty mouths!

Want to know how to say "tangina," "tanga," and several other cuss words in other Pinoy dialects? Read on!

Cuss

But you can also utter it in different dialects and they would still get the message. Look!

In Tagalog, if someone says or does something stupid, "tanga" is the word to use.

But it stings just as much when you say it in a different dialect.

In Tagalog, when talking about a man's junk, you say "titi" or "burat." Fancy, we know.

Cuss

However, these words are also as nasty...

Other than "pagtatalik," there's no clean way to say "sex" in Tagalog...

Cuss

So maybe you can say it in other dialects instead.

In Tagalog, "shit" is translated to "tae." Plain and simple.

But what's funny is it sounds much more sophisticated in other dialects.
