Taste is the most important factor when it comes to good food. In our quest to save ourselves from restos that offer expensive but tasteless meals, we usually rely on online food reviews, which aren't always reliable or straightforward.
Thankfully, a local Instagram account with the handle @masarap ba has emerged, bringing with it direct and on-point food reviews. The person behind the account uploads a photo of the dish along with a text overlay of its name, the restaurant where it's from (or the brand), and, usually, a simple "masarap" or "hindi masarap" verdict.
There are a few exceptions, though, like Casa Soriano's chicken ("Sobrang sarap"), Las Flores' Paella Negra ("P*** ang sarap"), and Bank Bar's Chicharon Bulaklak ("Wild ang sarap").
