It's Thursday, and that means only one thing: We're joining the #TBT bandwagon!
This week, we blow the dust off of our old, musty FHM collection, hop on a time machine, and travel back to a time of dinosaurs and cavemen.
Just kidding. We make everyone (including ourselves) feel #tanders and dial the clock back 10 years to look at all the sorts of kalokohan we got ourselves into in August 2004—a historic issue that you can now download by clicking here!
So what's so memorable about your favorite magazine's issue a decade ago? Here are 20 things...
1) The Golden Cover
We hit issue No. 50, a number associated with gold, so we did the cleverest thing and called our issue "The Gold Issue." Cue epic music!
2) We interviewed Manny Pacquiao's manager at that time: the late, great Rod Nazario
The first Pacquiao-Marquez match had just concluded in a tie, so we asked Mr. Nazario: "Are you planning a rematch for Pacquiao to redeem himself?"
He answered, "Marquez once said he doesn't want a rematch but I guess he's changed his mind. So, the possibility is there, but only if it will be done outside Vegas."
3) We tried running for office
We lost. And then, like any Filipino politician worth his salt, we cried, "Nadaya kami!"
4) We were awed by the sheer power of beer goggles
5) We bribed you with alcohol!
