Sports Illustrated recently unveiled its special three-cover 2016 Swimsuit Issue.
This landmark issue has made history by featuring three women with different body types—UFC fighter Ronda Rousey (who was earlier revealed to be appearing in the annual special), and models Hailey Clauson and Ashley Graham.
"The three covers of Hailey, Ronda, and Ashley celebrate the new SI Swimsuit," the magazine's assistant managing editor MJ Day said. "All three women are beautiful, sexy, and strong. Beauty is not cookie cutter. Beauty is not 'one size fits all.' Beauty is all around us and that became especially obvious to me while shooting and editing this year's issue."
Two-time SI cover girl Clauson, photographed by James Macari, was aware that a hand bra and a watermelon bikini were enough for her:
But the real news here is the emergence of body activist Graham, who with this trailblazing Macari-shot gem, becomes the first plus-size model to grace the cover of this iconic special SI edition.
The voluptuous vixen, who looked smoking in a purple-and-orange two-piece, expressed her utmost gratitude on Instagram:
And of course, Rousey, photographed by Frederic Pinet, stuns in all her body-painted, toned glory.
We weren't surprised to see them fronting a household name in men's magazines, for all three are very much deserving to grace the cover of any title with how they look and how they express confidence and sensuallity.
