In a new survey done by BodyLogicMD, the international network of bioidentical hormone experts, it was revealed that there’s one very important thing that couples aren’t doing enough of during sex, even though they want more of it.
For the study, 1,000 respondents were asked about their sexual preferences as well as their partner's. Afterwards, they were asked what they’d change about their lovemaking habits to make things sexier.
Out of the thousands surveyed, only 19 percent of women and 7 percent of men admitted that they were satisfied with their partners’ performance in the bedroom. As for the others, they enumerated 5 things that they want more in their sex lives. They are the following:
Foreplay tops the list of what both men and women wanted more during sex, but sadly, aren’t getting enough of it. In the study, most respondents believe that foreplay doesn’t just lead to better orgasms—it also creates a stronger emotional bond for them, too. “Whether it’s dirty talk, light touching, or kissing, you won’t know what works best in your relationship unless you talk about it,” the study said.
2) New Positions
Women respondents ranked “exploring new positions” as the second thing that they want more during sexytime. According to them, new positions don't just keep things exciting, they also lead to better orgasms for both parties. Sure, being adventurous in the bedroom may feel awkward at first, but trust us, getting the hang of it is worth it.
3) Use of Toys
If you feel shy introducing sex toys in the bedroom, this survey just revealed that women are actually game to try it. So go ahead, explore and see what the buzz (literally and figuratively) is all about.
4) More Sex
Surprise, surprise! Women want more sex in general (Who doesn’t, seriously?).
5) More Oral Sex
Please, don’t hold back from treating your woman to the oral action that she craves. Again, we’re back to number one: foreplay. Use that tongue wisely!
On the other hand, in case you’re curious, here are 5 things that men want more in women during sex, according to the survey: 1) More Foreplay, 2) Anal Sex, 3) Threesome/Group Sex, 4) More Oral Sex, and 5) New Positions.
