A new fashion trend sees women wearing nothing but black electrical tapes in bars and clubs.
Called the Black Tape Project, the “artistic” movement was initiated by Miami artist Joel Alvarez back in 2013. He describes it as “a scintillating visual extravaganza...which attempts to creatively display the sensual nature of the human form as it vacillates between the realms of innovation and seduction.”
The premise is simple: naked women have tiny tapes strategically placed around the body to cover the private areas. Then, they go party.
Over the last few years, it has grown in popularity. In fact, Joel and his models have toured Las Vegas, New York, the Caribbean, and Europe.
Who knows, the questionable trend just might make its way to the Philippines.
