If there's one thing that will make us proclaim that a hangout sesh is the shiznit, it's the sight of a grill busy making something meat-tastic. Also: the glorious smoky smell that signals an impending truly gastronomic experience! Inihaw par-tey!

Too bad that despite the saliva-inducing aroma and the health benefits (no cooking oil, bros!), grilling isn't exactly something we do regularly. Those large bulky grills and the hassle-filled setups and preparations?

This is why grilling is a true man skill. But we'd be lying if we say we don't want to get it done quicker and easier...and we believe we have just the device for the job.

Meat-loving bros and gals, we introduce you to the LotusGrill:

As you can see, it looks quite different compared to that metallic monster you call your grill. But what really sets it apart are its features that make it the perfect grilling partner.

You know, stuff like...

Tipping the scales at a relatively paltry 4kg, it's a legit lightweight compared to standard grills that can weigh in excess of 10kg. Add to that its compact size and you've got a portable grill you can easily bring from your house to the beach or a neighbor's pool party. By all means bring it to your office party and show your boss who's the boss when it comes to making a mean BBQ.

Pro tip: Store it at the back of your ride. You never know when that craving for grilled food will hit you.

The fantastic grilling aroma is welcome. The thick smoke that hurts our eyes? Not so much. The LotusGrill saves you from the smoke thanks to an inner bowl that catches grease and oil. You see, the smoke associated with grilling is produced when grease and/or oil make contact with the charcoal. With this nifty little feature, you can now even grill indoors!

Another difficulty associated with grilling: making the charcoal hot enough to produce embers. This is why your tatay uses your nanay's pamaypay because wind speeds up the process. Oh, you could gas, too, but we all know how dangerous that can be.

It's a different and better story for the LotusGrill. The darn thing comes with a built-in fan that directs wind to the charcoal inside! Power it up with four AA batteries and you're ready to grill in under four minutes!

The LotusGrill is composed of only four parts (we're beginning to think the number four is a thing here): a grill grid, an outer bowl that never gets hot, a stainless steel inner bowl, and the charcoal container. With fewer parts, setup is easier and straight-forward. Just stack 'em up neatly, secure the parts with the provided latches, and you're good to go.

We also like the fact that the LotusGrill has a closed and compact frame, which basically means no uling will come out even if the klutz in you topples it over.
