It's been almost 15 years since we were first blessed with her presence. A lot has changed, but her beauty (and the curves we drooled over) remains the same.

IWe guess we can all agree now that, yes, Patricia Javier is still H-O-T! #FHMPatriciaStillHot

In case you're not keeping count, this is our third time working with the FHM legend. Our partnership that started over a decade agoor back when terms like miRC, 3210, and eye-ball were still frequently being thrown around—and just thinking about it makes us really, really nostalgic.

So, for this edition of History of Sexy, join us as we take a look back at PJ's journey from a budding actress and sultry singer to an FHM Icon.

The name Patricia Javier (Genesis Walcher in real life) first made headlines (and men salivate) when she was launched as a sexy actress in the movie Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero in 1999. She played the role of Gail Montero, the lonely wife of the recently-paralyzed Cal Montero (Edu Manzano). She was looking for more romance and excitement which led her know where we're getting at, right?

Proof that she made it: She had another movie just a few months after Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero called Unfaithful Wife 2: Sana'y Huwag Akong Maligaw. Her character, Jennifer, is Jimmy's (Ian Veneracion) beautiful wife who found out that old flames die hard.

Call it awesome timing: Her rise to local stardom coincided with the arrival of FHM in the Philippines. We wanted to make waves in our first year, so we really had to have her on our cover. On December 2000, an FHM Legend was born:

A year later, Patricia starred in more adult-oriented movies like Tatarin and Marital Rape that further cemented her place as among the most popular sexy stars in the history of Pinoy cinema. We still remember the time we first saw her movie posters and said to ourselves "Hihingi ako pera kay mommy para mapanood yan!"

Her stock continued to rise, starring alongside former Viva Hot Babe and fellow FHM Icon Maui Taylor in Gamitan. But what really made that year memorable was Patrica's second cover gig for us!

PJ is the second woman in FHM history to repeat as cover girl (the first was another FHM icon, Assunta De Rossi). Her June 2002 cover also produced one of the most seductive poses we've ever photographed. Here is the same cover photo sans the blurbs:

Did we hear a "Yun oh"?

In our interview, she divulged that she was going to be launched as an international singer. "What they (the M2 group and her manager Jessica Rodriguez) want me to become is something like a mix of Jennifer Lopez and Kylie Minogue for the Asian region. I will be singing upbeat pop songs and ballads as well, but you will still see some skin!"

Her first album, PJ Patricia Javier, was also launched that year. Now you know why she's also been called the Philippines' Sexy Diva.

Many of us knew her as a talented sexy actress with curves and a voice to die for, but did you know that Patricia also appeared in several comedy movies like AB Normal College (Todo Na 'Yan, Kulang Pa 'Yun).

In 2004, Patricia decided to go to the U.S. What was supposed to be a short vacation turned out to be a decade-long stay. In an interview with, she admitted that she liked living in the States. "Dapat ilang months lang ako roon. Pero nagustuhan ko ang buhay roon. Tahimik, walang gulo, nakakapag-isip ako nang maayos."

Another big reason for her to stay in America: She met her husband, a chiropractor named Dr. Robert Walcher, during her stay there. The two hit it off and got married in 2006. Lucky dude!

Patricia's love for music didn't die though. In fact, she learned the art of scratching discs and mixing tracks to become DJ G-Love8 in San Diego.

Here she is in action:

So yeah, it looks like she was #LivingTheLife over there. However, luckily for us, the couple decided to move here in the Philippines last year because Patricia (now a mother of two) wanted to pursue a showbiz comeback. As a way to signal her return, she starred in the Cinemalaya flick Separados.
