The line between movies and games has only grown thinner as the years went by. But as far as sex and sex scenes go, there is still a great divide. Sex movies that are rated R or X can titillate. Games that are Rated "Adults Only"—the most extreme rating a game can get from the U.S.-based Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB)—are mostly a ridiculous mess that can bore more than it can give you a hard-on.

Unless of course, you're really, really into that kind of stuff.

Below are eight games given the "Adults-Only" rating because feature sexual content but only succeeded in testing your adult patience more than anything!

1) Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude - Uncut Version
(2004/PC)

What's up: The seventh game in the Leisure Suit Larry franchise features frustrated womanizer Larry Lovage, who attempts to seduce a bevy of college girls via a collection of dull mini-games.

Why it didn't live up to its hype: It was entertaining enough in that it had a few chuckle-inducing sex jokes here and there, and the digital chicks looked okay in a cartoony kind of way. But the sleep-inducing mini-games, which were the bulk of the gameplay, killed whatever excitement you derived from the loading screens:

2) Playboy: The Mansion - Private Party
(2005, PC)

What's up: You're Hugh Hefner. You have a huge digital mansion where every room is packed with Playboy Playmates. You try to build up Playboy magazine from scratch while having sexual relations with the playmates.
