Say it isn't so, Jef! How true is this?
"Sinabi ko naman sa FHM na ito na yung huli ko na pagpapa-sexy," reveals Jef, who just landed a gig in ABS-CBN Sports + Action's news and current affairs program News+, in an interview with PEP.ph. "Ngayon, gusto ko naman i-explore yung side na hindi na tayo nasa katawan, nasa talent na tayo. Bata pa lang ako, ito na yung sinasabi ko na kung hindi ako magiging artista, gusto ko talagang maging news anchor."
Fair enough, sweetheart. It's not like we're not happy for you, but...dammit, we love working with you! We mean, your January 2014 cover is to die for!
"Actually, naniniwala ako na hindi naman kailangan na mag-transform agad," adds Jef. "Ang pagpapa-sexy, iba naman yun sa pagbabalita eh. Ito yung bagay na gusto kong gawin." As much as we hate to admit it, you do have a point. Now you go follow your dreams, okay?
If this is indeed the end of our wonderful working relationship, then allow us to cite some of the things we will miss the most about working with one of FHM's ultimate favorites.
We will miss your zero kiyeme, carefree attitude during photoshoots. Any other celebrity would have refused to pose alongside a snake or an exotic parrot or an iguana, much less in a bikini. But we can tell that you loved every minute of your October 2010 cover shoot. Or was it because you were just too polite to tell us otherwise? We love that about you, too!
We will miss our awesome interview sessions together. Remember when we talked about the theories about the origin of the word "bikini?" Here's what you told us: "This is hard. Probably 'bi' for bathing suit—corny ko. 'Ki' for kiki. And 'ni' for nipple tapes." It was the most ridiculous answer ever...and it was awesome.
