Forget what you've been conditioned to believe. Women are more capable, evolved, and complex than most men give them credit for. So instead of conforming to what old-school notions have taught you, we found a study done by J. Walter Thompson about the modern-day Filipina that can help you in your pursuit of a woman of substance.

1) Myth: Women can’t do math or science

For sure, the IT team in your office is filled with boys. Like engineering and architecture, the information technology field is one that's commonly labelled as “for the boys only.” But that was before. According to a recent study by J. Walter Thomson, 85 percent of Filipinas believe technology empowers them and 89% believe it has given them a voice. And we’re not talking merely about social media. Now, we see women who code, develop apps, and manage numbers and cyphers like a pro.

We had two women presidents, and currently, a woman vice-president. We have women senators, mayors, and even officers from various fields. Truly, we are not ashamed of giving females their much-deserved power. Thank the 96 per cent of Filipinas who believe that femininity is not a weakness, but a strength.
