Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren Is In Manila + 4 Events This Weekend

Japanese rock band Toe is also here in the metro over the weekend

The weather bureau reported that "Marce" has just intensified into a tropical storm and it's expected to stay until Sunday night. But even if it's wet outside, it doesn't mean we have to lock ourselves away inside our houses.

There are plenty of events heating up in the metro this weekend. Check them out below:

1) Armin van Buuren Live in Manila

WHEN: November 25
WHERE: Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City
WHAT'S UP: Award-winning Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren is back in the country for a five-hour long concert. He will be playing some tracks from his latest album Embrace. Along with the ear-busting EDM tunes are dance acts and visual effects.

2) Escolta Block Party

WHEN: November 26
WHERE: Escolta, Binondo St., Manila
WHAT'S UP: Get to know more about the history of Manila. Visit the heritage sites such as El Hogar, First United Building, and more. Yes, the event features historical tours, but there will also be a street bazaar with sumptuous foods and drinks, an art exhibit, film screenings, and more exciting activities.

3) A Spur of the Moment Project: Serein

WHEN: November 26

WHERE: Route 196, Katipunan Ave., Quezon City

WHAT'S UP: Huge fan of indie music? Then this is something you shouldn't miss. Twin Lobster, AOUI, Fools and Foes, Run Dorothy, Tom's Story, and Ourselves the Elves will be together in one stage to soothe your senses and uplift the weakest of spirits with their beats.

4) Toe Live In Manila

WHEN: November 27
WHERE: Samsung Hall SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City
WHAT'S UP: Japanese rock band Toe is back in Manila as part of their South Asian tour. They are promoting their latest EP, The Future Is Now. In case you still haven't heard of the group, they play a combination of organic and electric tunes which makes them sound unique.
