New You

Welcome to the new you, FHM Nation!

We've just entered a New Year, and there's no better time to turn things around than now. If you're on the heavier side, now is the time to slim down and bulk up. And if you're a bit on the skinny side, well, you know what to do. In fact, you've always had!

All we're trying to say is that it's never too late to change your body for the better. And our goal is to prove that to you for the whole month of January. Don't lose hope, bros. We're here to help you out!

Ah, man boobs. According to Men's Health, there are two possible reasons why guys have them.

Man Boobs

The first is a medical condition called clinical gynecomastia, otherwise known as male breast enlargement. It can result from a hormonal imbalance or elevated levels of estrogen and lowered levels of testosterone.

The second reason has something to do with excess fat stored around your chest. Neither are life-threatening, but the good news is you can get rid of those "moobs" by engaging in a fat-loss, muscle-building workout.

Try the following chest-blasting moves for size!

Chest-Supported Dumbbell Row

1. Grab a pair of dumbbells and lie chest-down on a 45-degree incline bench.
2. Let your arms hang straight down, palms facing each other.
3. Row the dumbbells to the side of your chest by bending your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades.
4. Pause and lower the weights.

Dumbbell Goblet Box Squat

1. Stand four to six inches forward of a knee-high bench or box.
2. Cup the end of a dumbbell with both hands and hold it vertically in front of your chest, your elbows pointing down.
3. Keeping your back naturally arched, push your hips back, bend your knees, and squat.
4. Sit on the bench for a moment.
5. Keeping your heels pressed into the ground, stand back up.

Dumbbell 1 1/2 Pushup

1. Grasp the handle of a dumbbell in each hand and assume a pushup position with your arms straight.
2. Your hands should be about shoulder-width apart, and your body should form a straight line from head to ankles.
3. Bend your elbows and lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor.
4. Pause, and then push yourself halfway back up. Pause again, then lower your body back to the floor.
5. Push yourself all the way back up to the starting position, and repeat.
