Overseas job portal Workabroad.ph has released its annual Overseas Jobs and Salary Report for 2017.

The data include the highest-paying professions abroad, top countries for employment, and in-demand careers overseas.

For the most lucrative specializations, it's the sea-based engineers, healthcare professionals, land-based engineers, and IT professionals. A ship master can earn P99,000 monthly, P96,000 for a chief engineer, and P92,000 with chief officerS. Meanwhile, land-based engineers can have a monthly salary of P57,000 to P59,000.

Healthcare professionals are also well-compensated. Doctors, especially those who specialize in pediatric care, can rake in as much as P86,000 a month. On the other hand, the monthly rate of nurses is P65,000, while veterinarians get P58,000.

IT professionals—even those with zero to four years of experience—can already net as much as P54,000.

The survey also revealed the Top 10 countries of deployment. Saudi Arabia sits on top with 54.19% of job ads coming from them. Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, as well as Malaysia and Taiwan (replacing 2016's Australia and Brunei) round out the list.

In addition, WorkAbroad.PH revealed the professions that are the most in-demand overseas.

IN THE USA:

Across regions, majority of the demand are for skilled workers. For professionals, there is high demand for engineers.
