Legroom for days

Life as a seven-footer isn't easy. Shoes and clothes of the right size are difficult to come by, and unless you're entering an NBA locker room you're going to draw everyone's attention.

Speaking of the NBA, everyone assumes you happen to play professional basketball if you tower above everyone. And if you do, it only tends to complicate matters further as your massive frame and weight make you more prone to injury than your average-sized counterparts. Just ask New York Knicks center Kristaps Porzingis, who recently posted a snap of himself being ferried inside his Mercedes-Benz S-Class following surgery to repair a torn ACL.

Alright, maybe life as a seven-foot basketball player isn't that difficult.

In the Instagram post, the 22-year-old NBA star dubbed the 'Unicorn' thanked his fans for their support and vowed to come back with a vengeance.

"On my way home from the hospital. First of all I want to thank you for all the love and support. I'm attacking my rehab right away. I truly believe that with consistent hard work, patience and positive attitude I’ll come back stronger, better and sharper than ever. Much love," his post reads.

As you can see in the photo, not being able to bend or move his massive legs puts him in a slightly difficult spot. ACL injuries usually take three to six months of recovery and rehabilitation, so hopefully that'll be more than enough time for Kristaps (who's out for the 2018 season) to switch to a ride with headroom more suited for his height.

Based on the Unicorn's Instagram feed, it appears Mercedes-Benz is his car manufacturer of choice. The all-new G-Class, perhaps?
