First off, can we just admire Suzuki Racing's team colors on this Raider J115 Fi please:
This Moto GP paintjob (with a P67,900 sticker price) isn't a long way off from the GSX-RR that Alex Rins of Team SUZUKI ECSTAR just piloted to a second-place finish at the Dutch GP after battling his way from 9th at the Assen circuit in the Netherlands. Known as the "Cathedral of Speed," it's the perfect place to set a career-high finish for the young Spaniard.
It's also a great performance for someone who woke up with a bum stomach on race day. Rins shared during his post-race interview that, “this morning I was feeling really sick, some problems with my stomach. But the doctors at Clinica Mobile gave me some medicine and it took away the pain, so I must really thank them, because when I felt better I thought, 'wow, this will be my race!'"
We can all relate to having literally crappy mornings, and hopefully some of them turn out even half as good as the way Alex's day did. It's roughly halfway into the 2018 season and we think Alex and co-rider Andrea Iannone have more podiums to come.
