When you see a Ferrari unleashing hell on the road, it's an impressive sight. But that's to be expected. That's a Ferrari.
That's not what you'd expect from a more ordinary car such as an old, first-generation Subaru Impreza GT. Sure, the Impreza has etched its name in rally racing, but that championship pedigree is found more in the high-performance WRX and WRX STI version. The GT is, more or less, pedestrian. Not so, however, when a good driver sits behind the wheels.
As auto blog Jalopnik notes, this sort of road buffoonery can be achieved with proper knowledge of a car's weight transferring properties. The driver obviously knows the Impreza GT's by heart.
