The Toyota Camry, the Honda Accord and the Mazda 6 better get ready to make room for the Nissan Teana. Available in Nissan dealerships since September 4, the all-new Nissan Teana has both the style and substance to be a strong competitor in the Japanese luxury sedan segment.

The Nissan Teana is heavily inspired by European executive sedans, like the ones offered by BMW and Mercedes.

The strong, confident lines on this car along with classy, modern design cues like the bold-looking headlamps and window profiles, lend the Teana much class and a certain edge as well.

Put side by side with its rivals, we’d say that the Teana is the most stately, as the car is more sophisticated rather than sporty.

The performance the Teana offers is just what you’d expect from a premium model. It is equipped with the 2.5 liter 24-Valve, VQ-V6 engine, which produces about 185 horsepower at  6000 RPM, and 232 Nm of torque at 4400 RPM. The engine is also said to be known for its simple but effective design, compactness, low friction, and responsiveness.

Other than the engine, the Teana’s Xtronic Continuous Variable Transmission is very impressive too as it offers a smooth “no-shift-shock” driving experience, allowing for smooth gear change, a sense of acceleration, and efficient fuel consumption.

Safety isn’t overlooked as well, as the Teana features a high tensile steel body structure for optimum driving comfort, safety, and operation stability. The body is said to have been built using 980 MPA Ultra Steel with characteristics similar to a French Nuclear submarine.

The all-new Nissan Teana, with its classy design, power, and safety features is more than worthy to be called a luxury car. Those in the market for such a car suddenly has another option to weigh.
