The Clark International Speedway was abuzz with excitement and the roar of engines last May 24, Saturday, as it hosted the 2014 Toyota Vios Cup, a one-make race featuring Toyota's best-selling unit, the Vios.

The Toyota Vios Cup is meant to be a celebration of a few things: 1) the nation's burgeoning love for driving and enthusiasm for motorsports; 2) the performance and dependability of the Vios Cup cars, and; 3) the spirit of Waku-Doki, which, Toyota tells us, is a Japanese term for that sense of anticipation that you are about to do something fun, cool, and exciting!

And that's exactly what we got at this one-day speedway shindig. The hardcore car aficionados obviously had fun dissecting the races that day, but for everyone else, there were hot women racers, flashy sports cars, throwback Toyotas, and the Itchyworms. The fact that this is a step forward towards bringing the race scene to a bigger audience is also exciting.

For the FHM man, all that is indeed worth the weekend! So if you weren't able to go, hit the gallery below to see what the inaugural Vios Cup offered us—and we sure hope there's more to come!
