A new sneak peek teaser of Transformers: The Last Knight dropped over the weekend and it’s all about humanity’s long and winding history with the Cybertronians.
The transformers were apparently involved in every major battle that shaped human history as we know it, or at least that’s what this teaser is trying to tell us.
Eagle-eyed fans have also pointed out the presence of Starscream and Ironhide in what appears to be photos of World War I and a yet to be identified medieval setting.
Needless to say, the Transformers franchise has cemented its success in the film industry with this upcoming fifth installment. Still, it isn’t for everyone.
If you’re a fan of cinematography then it’s a must-watch since director Michael Bay keeps pushing the boundaries of film spectacle, especially in the 3D department.
It will also probably be his last Transformers film after directing the whole franchise.
Bay might not be the most loved director of all time, but you’ve got to admit that his contributions to the industry have been more than significant.
Aside from this, the movie is also meant to provide an answer to why both Autobots and Decepticons somehow keep returning to our planet (as shown in five film installments since 2007).
But if you still feel otherwise, it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to sit this one out and wait for your friends to give you some feedback on whether or not it’s worth it before joining the bandwagon.
Transformers: The Last Knight will star Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Isabella Moner, and Laura Haddock and is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 23.
