Producers of the Asian edition of the Emmy Award winning The Amazing Race has confirmed that the ultimate adventure is back with a call for a fresh batch of hopefuls racing for glory. Judging from the response to the first The Amazing Race Asia, AXN is bracing itself for another flood of hopefuls responding to the call for entry.

According to Ricky Ow, General Manager of SPE Networks – Asia, “The first The Amazing Race Asia was a runaway success. Even before Season 1 ended, viewers were already calling in to ask if they could send in their entries. So we are opening it for casting earlier this time so as to find the best cast possible.”

Registration has opened and will close on March 30, 2007. All interested participants are to submit their applications in teams of two, and they must be living and/or working in Asia (excluding Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East). All contestants are required to be aged 21 and above, must speak English, as well as possess both a valid driving license and an international passport.
