What started out as rumors has just been proven true.

The brand manager of a telecommunications company confirmed to CNN Philippines that Coldplay "are definitely coming to Manila at the latter part of the year."

Wednesday night saw a Facebook post by Globe Telecom Head of Music Content Kat Ramnani go viral, with her supposedly spilling the beans about the band's first-ever show in Manila.

The post has since been deleted but the hashtag "ColdplayInManila" had already blown up on Twitter:

Details about the concert have been relatively scarce, but according to two independent sources from PEP.ph, the Philippine leg of the band's Asian tour will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, on the last week of November.

If anything, there will be no Beyoncé and Bruno Mars this time around, so Chris and co. will be all right.
